Congratulations to the PCTI Jazz Band on a strong performance at Friday night’s NJAJE Jazz Festival! The Jazz Band received the Best Rhythm Section Award!!! The following students also received an Honorable Mention at the festival for their amazing Jazz solos: Gabriela Hernandez, Noelia Figuereo & Andres Guerra.

The newly formed PCTI Symphonic Band recently performed at the annual WPUNJ Band Day Clinic. The Symphonic Band is one of two Concert Bands available to all PCTVS students. Kudos to the band members on an excellent performance.

Congratulations to senior band member Gabriela Hernandez. Gabriela recently auditioned for and was selected to perform with the NJSMA Region 1 Orchestra. The Region 1 Orchestra concert was amazing!

Congratulations to the PCTI Jazz Band! Last Friday the PCTI Jazz Band delivered an outstanding performance at the Edison HS Jazz Band Festival. The Jazz Band received the Best Trombone Section award!

Congratulations to Charles Sims & Gabriela Hernandez for auditioning and being selected to perform in the NJSMA Region 1 Symphonic Band! Over 400 students from throughout seven counties auditioned for this highly selective ensemble. Kudos to both students for their hard work, commitment & dedication!

Congratulations to the PCTI Marching Band for receiving a Gold Rating at last night’s NJMEA State Marching Band Ratings Festival!!! For the 2nd consecutive year, the Marching Band has earned a Gold Rating at the annual State Festival.

Congratulations to the PCTI Marching Band on a strong performance at MetLife stadium. At yesterday’s competition the PCTI Marching Band won the best overall percussion award!!!
